The Wister A condo is the perfect base from which to discover the scenic beauty of its spectacular surroundings. Featuring three bedrooms plus a sleeping platform above the queen bed, three baths (Master bathroom, Upstairs hallway bathroom, and a bathroom off of the kitchen), full kitchen, fireplace and laundry facilities, your family will find comfort and relaxation.


While staying in this centrally-located condo, you’ll be minutes from the town of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. Five minute drive to the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club, Seven miles from the town of Jackson (15 minutes), Nineteen miles to the Jackson Hole Ski Resort (30 minutes)


Teton views, High-speed (3.0Mbps) wireless internet, Washer/dryer, Fireplace and firewood, Cable television and VCR/DVD, Fully-equipped kitchen, Linens, Microwave, Deck with gas grill. One small car garage.


The perfect location to enjoy all that Jackson Hole and Yellowstone have to offer. If you decide to take an evening stroll you will likely see Elk and Moose in the gorgeous surroundings of the Tetons. In the winter you have groomed Nordic ski tracks that tour the golf course.


Bedroom one: 1 queen and then a platform w/ladder above that queen with a king mattress.
Bedroom two: 1 queen.
There are two bathrooms in between these two bedrooms. These are all mid-level.
Bedroom three: 2 double beds. Third level.
The third bathroom is ground level by the washer/dryer.
The description says it will sleep 10 and that is based on 2 people per bed, including the platform mattress in bedroom two.

Cancellation policy: All cancellations will forfeit the 5% resort/processing fee.
We require half of the rent, half of the taxes and the full processing fee at the time of booking (non-refundable unless property is re-rented). The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to arrival (non-refundable unless the property is re-rented).

    This condo comfortably slept 10 people, all in very comfortable beds, not futons or sofa sleepers. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to cook several meals with nice kitchen gear. The bathrooms were also well-stocked with toiletries and lots of fresh towels.
    The location was ideal—a quick drive into town, but away from all the hustle and bustle, and right on the road to the GTNP. The views were beautiful and we went on several walks right out our back door.
    When I was getting quotes on lodging, this one listed more per night than other similar properties, but when I got the total cost quotes from the brokers, the bid actually came in significantly less because they didn’t gouge us with super high fees. In an area where the sky’s the limit for lodging, this was a great value as well as being comfortable, clean and a great home=base for all of our activities. I am 100% satisfied with our stay.

    Our arrival began with not being able to get into the condo as the wrong key was left - but it got better after that. Was there to visit family and see the national parks which never disappoint - condo was large enough for 6 adults, that was what we needed.

    The condo was everything and more than I expected. Plenty of room to spread out and plenty of bathroom space for all of us. We had 6 adults and 2 teens. Tbe kitchen was perfect for cooking and dining. And the views from the livingroom window were amazing..Teton mountains and deer every morning..cant beat that! We enjoyed our stay and liked the location...about 15 min to town..10 min to airport..and across crom elk refuge..very nice! We will definately be back. Oh and the skiing was new favorite place!

    The Wister A property was great. It was well equipped and centrally located between Jackson and GTNP entrance. It was available on short notice as we need. I would prefer to not be requested to start the dishwasher and strip the beds before leaving (shouldn't the cleaning deposit cover that?). Overall, it was a property I would recommend.

    we choose this location for a family celebration. Directions to property were spot on. Overall the property was very well appointed for our needs. Easy access to our activities and in a nice area. If I had a complaint it was that the house was not ready at the time of our arrival which upset the older members of our party and the sliding screen door could use some maintenance. So if that's the only thing I have to complain about I guess we really didn't have much to complain about. My contact with property management was very pleasant and very helpful. And of course, should we choose an extended stay vacation again I will definitely be using them again.

    Our small family of seven meets annually for a destination reunion. I rely on Homeaway to find accommodations suitable to house all of us under one roof for the week. MPM were wonderful to us and made the booking/payment/check out process easy for us. The unit itself, although small-ish for seven people met our needs. We arrived to a basically clean unit, all pape and laundry supplies included, and good supply of linens. Appliances ran well - albeit a bit aged. This unit has three bathrooms with showers so no issue there. I will be honest and say the living room furniture was a bit used and worn - didn't seem like the cushions fit very well and, while the unit says it will sleeps 10 there was dining chairs for only six.
    There are parking restrictions - the area around the mailboxes is parking prohibited and, we were unsure where to park the extra car our group brought.
    All in all this was a very fine location - away from the congested town of Jackson - and views were amazing.

    Our family of ten enjoyed our stay at Wister A. The online pictures didn't look as nice as the place actually was. It was filled with everything we needed except a pizza cutter. It was like home away from home. The view of the Tetons was beautiful. We were all very pleased with our stay there.

    We have been staying in this condo complex for years. We have stayed in several different units. This one is overall smaller and has three floors (with the bedrooms all up). The mattresses definitely could use 3-4" pad toppers. Very clean and well maintained.

    We had an amazing stay at Wister A. The accomadations were perfect for our family and friends as we ventured to Jackson for my father in-laws buffalo hunt. We were in a great location for the hunt and it was so beautiful. Tetons and moose in our backyard.

    We had a wonderful time. The facility was very nice. It was also very clean. The little snack package was a special surprise for us. The only thing I might mention is the Washer squeaked when it was running. We did appreciate all of the towels (some of us would use a fresh towel every day). we did also appreciate the fact that there were some staples left there. So if you only needed 1/4 cup of flour you didn't have to buy a whole pound.

    Our family has been staying at Teton Shadows since 1983 - I think that says it all. It's been a perfect place for us. Mountain Property Management is very easy to work with and very helpful. We had a problem with a bathroom this past summer and they sent someone right out to take care of it. I have a good friend staying there this fall so I certainly would recommend this site to anyone. It has a beautiful view of the tetons!

    We stayed for 4 nights at Wister A property for Yellowstone & Grand Tetons. The property needs some improvement but was okay as they are overall better than what you can get in the area.
