Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Jackson Hole Ski Resort

Although Jackson Hole is legendary among the initiated, it’s still a largely undiscovered secret - a combination of old school ski town, adventurous attitude and cowboy chic stashed deep in the heart of the Grand Teton range of Wyoming.

Winter at Jackson Hole Ski Resort

skiing at the topThe two distinct mountains that comprise the ski resort - Rendezvous and Apres Vous - offer 2,500 acres of inbounds terrain with a vertical rise of over 4,100 feet. Except during the Christmas holidays and Spring Break, the crowds are sparse and lift lines are virtually nonexistent. Add 459 inches of average snowfall each winter and you stir up a delicious recipe for a ski vacation you’ll never forget at a magical place known simply as “The Big One”.

The near-vertical chutes, rock-lined couloirs, dangerous cliff-bands and epic bowls of Rendezvous Mountain attract expert skiers and snowboarders from the far corners of the globe. It is also possible to access over 3,000 acres of unpatrolled, off-piste terrain through our gates into the endless forest of the backcountry.

However, Jackson Hole is not all steep and deep. There are rolling groomers, cruiser glades and wide-open, powdery bowls, as well. In fact, 40% of the resort is designated as intermediate and terrain.

Hiking in the Grand TetonsLearning to ski or snowboard is a comfortable, stress-free experience on Apres Vous Mountain, which levels out at its base into gentle, beginner-friendly slopes. Our Mountain Sports School offers professional instructors, alpine guides and skills camps for skiers and riders of all abilities.

Although our unrivaled natural terrain makes the entire mountain seem like a huge snowboard park, we also boast a mini park, an expert park and a Superpipe. Competitions and fun events for snowboarders of all levels of expertise are held throughout the season.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort also boasts an unrivaled Nordic Center and Saddlehorn Activity Center.
In addition to equipment rentals, professional instruction and 17 kilometers of groomed trails, you can also enjoy dog sledding, snowshoeing, nature tours, overnight yurt trips and other winter activities.

Summer on the Mountain

Gondola rides and gentle mountain biking are popular family activities at the mountain in the warmer months. Join our hosts lead guided hikes from both the base and the top of the resort. The more adventurous may choose activities such as launching off the peak of Rendevous in a paraglider, rock climbing or pumping their bike UP the mountain trails.

The possibilities for enjoying the outdoors are limitless here, so come enjoy it any time of the year!
