Nordic Skiing - Jackson Hole Family Vacation

Thoughts of Jackson Hole skiing usually produce images of lift lines, high peaks, and racing downhill. Most fail to recognize the many exceptional opportunities available for cross-country skiers throughout the area. There are more than 60 kilometers of groomed lanes and trails throughout the Jackson Hole Valley and over Teton Pass. Open fields, evergreen forests weighed down with powder, and rolling aspen glades are all available.

The Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Jackson Hole Community Pathways maintains six cross-country ski tracks. Also, Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park offers literally endless options for viewing the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Wyoming via Nordic skies.
