Snowboarding Vacations in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Jackson Hole Ski Area is at home among the most epic mountains in North America. From the flats of the Snake River, Rendezvous Mountain ascends 4,139 feet, giving the resort the largest continuous vertical drop in the United States. The north facing slopes also receive an average of 30 feet of fluffy snow each season, and endless glades shade untouched powder stashes late into the day. Jackson Hole, Wyoming snowboarding is heaven. Period.
The resort consists of two peaks: Apris Vous (Lower Mountain) and Rendezvous Mountain. The former is a great for beginner and intermediate snowboarders with its uncrowded lifts and easier terrain. Rendezvous Mountain is divided. The top half is an extreme snowboarders’ Mecca with its steep terrain and double diamonds, and the lower half eases into a more manageable slope.
Jackson Hole Ski Area also maintains an excellent terrain park and superpipe for riders who prefer being air bound.
